The F25 has taken on signature portable advantages such an oil-retention system for leak-free operation, on-side storage capability, carry handles, and resting pads, just like its new F15 and F20 siblings. So whether you’re duck hunting in a jon boat or heading to a lake home in a 14-foot aluminum boat, your Yamaha portable is ready to go.

Our 432-cc 25-hp portable outboard has a sleek, lightweight design and class-leading power-to-weight ratio. In fact, whether two-stroke or four-stroke, it’s the lightest 25-hp outboard on the lake. Even though its sleek form is 25% lighter, it still has interesting features like battery-free EFI. This capability is now available on pull-start vehicles, and the system is equipped with an automatic decompression device to make manual starting even easier.

EFFECTIVE POWER
The F25, F20, and F15 all use a single-overhead-camshaft design with two valves per cylinder for increased breathing and power.
PERFORMANCE
Microcomputer Ignition adjusts timing to maintain maximum engine performance, economy, and power under all conditions, thanks to an ideally balanced crankshaft and labyrinth exhaust.
INTAKE STREAMLINED
On the F20 and F15, an intake silencer and manifold result in more direct airflow, resulting in less noise and more power.
ACCELERATION WITH RESPONSIBILITY
On the F20 and F15, an acceleration pump provides the engine with the fuel it requires when it is needed, such as during quick throttle advance. This guarantees that the acceleration is responsive.
